Welcome to the latest in a line of posting something to provoke discussion, and disappearing.

Seriously, after reading about BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards (come on Jenson!) on another forum, the debate turned to darts, and what is and isn’t sport.

Scary thoughts…scary!

With Halloween being fresh in the memory, I sat down and tallied up a big list of all the cars I’ve owned in my time in RC. It makes for scary reading!
The vast majority were not new, nor full price, so the cost isn’t totally horrendous…..but still….

October 8, 2009 at 9:04 pm | Posted in My RC | Leave a commentNo doubt I’ll get bored of it soon enough, but I’ve got an Associated SC10 now. Bought as a roller with a Spektrum servo, and got stuck into it. ![]()

Crawlin’….kinda
October 8, 2009 at 8:45 pm | Posted in My RC | Leave a commentI’ve wanted a CC01 for a while, the whole scale side of RC appeals to me, and as much as I’d like a scale on-road car (I’m halfway there with the Focus Of Doom), where I live is pretty far from tarmac, so a scale truck was out of the window. Cue, the CC01.

Counterfeit Culture
August 25, 2009 at 2:43 pm | Posted in RC | 1 CommentTags: counterfeit, RC, Tamiya, xray
It had to happen sooner or later. The lower end of the RC market has been blighted with cheap clones and knockoffs of more expensive and better quality cars….but now the full carbon racing chassis’d cars are not immune to being copied, part for part, screw for screw.
Xray’s T2’008 and Tamiya’s TRF416 are the first two cars to be counterfeitted, and its a scary time for everyone in the industry.
Friday LinkLog #1 – Mixed bag
August 21, 2009 at 5:01 pm | Posted in Friday LinkLog | Leave a commentFriday’s LinkLog is our way of bringing you the best of the web, things you might not have seen before with old favourites from our browser.
Garry is getting very much into the scale driving aspect of RC, scale 4×4′s more than anything. Here’s his favourite haunt, the UK RC Rock Crawling site. Its a haven for both competition rigs, and more sedate runners.
Secondly, is the frankly awesome news site that is Red RC – if you want the hottest and most exclusive news and race reports, the Irish guys at Red RC are always on the case to bring you the latest and greatest scoops.
And finally, the last entry in our LinkLog is RC Mini, the bible when it comes to setting up and and running Tamiya’s legendary Mini chassis. Its literally the best site around crammed full of info and tips for the little terror!
